Badger Bass Open Recent news: The Madison fishing expo was last weekend. Thanks to everyone for stopping and/or supporting our team!

The Wisconsin College Shootout

Congrats to the Stevens Point fishing team who edged out the UW team! This is the first victory for Stevens Point in this tournament since inception, and it is really a testament to the dedication of their club that they were able to field 9 boats. Conditions were not ideal but the top two teams for SP managed just under 20 lbs. The UW team was unfortunately only able to bring 2 boats to the tournament and were only able to catch about 16.5 pounds of bass. MSOE and Whitewater also had teams attending but were not able to crack the top 2. Thanks to all teams that participated and we look forward to doing it again next year!

Brian Glassel and the courteous staff of Glass Nickel Pizza on Madison's East Side has hosted our Semesterly Team Meeting for many years now, and the team enjoyed delicious Free Pizza this past December 3rd!
The Big Ten Bass Tournament was held on October 11th on Lake St. Clair in Michigan. The Wisconsin team went into the tournament hoping to take first place, but learning the 430 square mile lake in two days was not an easy task, and they fell just short.
The Midwest College Shootout was held on September 20th. Stevens Point came in and won it with just shy of 17lbs of bass, and also had the second place boat with over 12 lbs of fish.
Jeff and Justin led the way for UW, but were only able to take 3rd place with just over 12 lbs of bass.
